Evaluation of my blogging experience

Well, I think that this experience it's really interesting and entertaining, it's a good way to know each other's, and met knew people, although I don't feel comfortable with all my English classmates, but it's not the point. 

I liked to write most blogs, but I think some topics were boring, like post six, about postgraduate studies, and post nine, about changes that I'd do to my program, for other side, the posts I liked most were the topics about music, art, and a country I'd like to visit, I really enjoy writing about topics related with art or culture, I think is very interesting.

I feel that I really improve my writing skills, some months ago, when I had to write something, I didn't know how to start, or I used to forget some words, I didn't know what to write, the same for when I had to talk in English with someone, now I still having troubles with that, but not because I have problems with the pronunciation, it's because I'm shy, and I started to think too much things related to how badly I speak English. 

Well, I feel according with the topics that we write about, but I 'd like to include in the future topics like pets, or maybe the dreams or nightmares we have, for example, it would be a nice idea because those topics are general, and anyone could write about them. Also I think that movies, or series are good topics, and what about to write about food, what kind of food do you like? or you don't like, or what kind of people you like or not, embarrassing experiences, what kind of country you like to live, or what's the best memory you have, I don't know, there are infinite topics.

Changes that I'd do to my study program

Well, I have to write about changes that could be made to my study program, and honestly I don't have any idea of what changes could be made to the study program, but I'll try to write what I think.
About the subjects I have to study, well, I'm not sure if there is any problem with this, after all, the curriculum exist and it's the way it is for some reason, and is not like someone that don't like the career like me could give any opinion about that, I mean, I don't know about what subjects are necessary or unnecessary, I'm just studying, and I'm not sure if I care about the subjects I'll have to take in the future because anyway I don't like them.

About the workload and length of studies, well, first of all, is the University of Chile, I'm not complaining about that, because, I think that the career had to be the way it is, have to had the workload that had, and the length of studies that had, If I'm not capable of getting used to it, I think is my problem, not the University problem, and I'll have to become able to get used to the workload and the length of studies.

About the Faculty facilities, well, first of all, we don't have a cafeteria, but anyway, there is one under construction, and about a place to study, I think it could be better, there are a few places to study, and when I try to study in library or "anexo", I don't feel comfortable, because it's always crowded.

About the use of technology, well, I don't have complains, the Internet is fast, and if you need to install some software in a computer, you can install what you want, the problem is that there are a few computers, and CIQ is crowded almost every time.

Well, the teaching methods could be better, I think it depends on the teacher, I'm not saying that the teachers are not skilled, of course they're the most skillfull I've known, but some teachers are wicked, and others are too fast for me, I'm not used to go too fast, I get lost, but I'd prefer to let all as it is.

Summer Holidays

Well, to be honest, I don't plan to do something in the summer, who knows, maybe I'll stay all the summer holidays in front of my computer, maybe not, but my family never plan to go somewhere, I understand the reason, and I don't complain about that, so my holidays maybe sounds too boring for everyone, but I've become used to.

Maybe, if my godparents decide to go to the beach, I'll go with they to Pichilemu, like most of summer holidays, why Pichilemu? because I live around two hours from Pichilemu, and my godfather's family lived there. Well, I think that if I go there with they, we'll rent a cabin, and go to the beach in the afternoon, then, in the night we'll go to the amusement park, in the midnight we'll go to see the handicrafts, and then we'll go to a bar. Maybe the next day we would go to Punta de Lobos for a while, and then we would go to visit Cahuil, and as always, because I'm not used to eat fish, at lunch and dinner, probably I would eat only empanadas.

And, something I really would like to do, is go out with my boyfriend, I don't know, maybe go for a walk together, or just sit down under a tree and talk about random topics, have an ice-cream, maybe eat pizza, watch movies, play video-games, I don’t know, but I just want to go out with him.

My favourite songs

It's very difficult for me to choose one favourite song, there are many good songs, even if I classify them in happy or sad songs like teacher Victor. I use to listen to Foo Fighters, of course they are my favourite band, but is not like I only listen to Foo Fighters, there are big variety of bands, a big variety of music.
Well, I use to think that my favourite song is Everlong by Foo Fighters, is a very beautiful song, since the first time I listened to the acoustic version of that song, I shiver, I feel like if everything around would be quiet, or something like that, in other words, I feel relaxed, but also I like all the Foo Fighters's songs I've listened to, songs like Saint Cecilia, Better Off, Overdrive, Wheels... well, I like all Foo Fighters's songs, I can't choose just one.

I always write about how I love Foo Fighters, so, forgetting about Foo Fighters one moment, some years ago I listened to Rise Against too much, I like the ideologies they have, and the music they do make me think about the world issues, the lyrics they write are very beautiful, there are two song I really like, one is Through-Labor, and the other Ready to fall. Also Green Day was my favourite band, I download all the discography (also of Foo Fighters, of course), they have a broad music repertoire, in this case Whatsername and Castaway are my favourites. And how could I forget about The Offspring, I really like Your'e gonna go far, kid, by The Offspring, I like so much the lyrics and the video.

Postgraduate studies

 Honestly, I'm not sure if I want to take a postgraduate course, I don´t like what I'm studying right now, and I don't feel like I would like in a future, but who knows, maybe I change my mind someday, or maybe not.

Well, if I had to do a postgraduate course, maybe would be after study another career, like Translation mention English-Japanese, or Arts. The main reason to think would be a good idea study Translation mention English-Japanese, is that I really would like can translate some Japanese video-games, because right now I can't play some of them, because I don't know Japanese. And why I want to study Arts? simple, I really like Art, since I was child, I really want to learn how to paint with oil, pastels, watercolor, charcoal, etc., how to make sculptures, how to do an artistic intervention, for example, or I don't know, I just want to know what Art is.

I would like to do a postgraduate course in Arts, mention Visual Arts, or maybe in Linguistics, like teacher Victor. I would like to study in Chile, if I could, in University of Chile, but If I had the opportunity to study in other country, I'll take the chance. I think it doesn't matter the "how" I would like to study, at least for me right now, because I'm not sure, like I wrote at the beginning.

Art

The word "Art" is something very broad, but when someone say "art" I particularly think in paint, draw or do music, Why? I'm not sure when I started to like paint, or draw, or even music, I think my aunt and cousins give me the experience, my aunt is artist, I mean, she paint, and my brother always was listening to his music, rock, funk, punk, metal, among others, I started to draw like anime when I was child, and surfing the Internet I found a very interesting Illustrators, I met Tetsuya Nomura, he is known for do the Square Enix illustrations, I think his style is very particular, like a watermark, another incredible illustrator I met is Ilya Kuvshinov, he is Russian, but in this case, he draw women in majority, I'm writing about "draw and paint" through a computer, not with a pencil, I know how beautiful could be a "handmade" paint, but draw in tablet is like learn how to draw again, I really admire people could do illustrations, because they could draw very beautiful with a pencil, and also in tablet, I think they are doubly talented.

The same goes for people that like to do "cosplay", many times are themselves who design, the clothes, and the make up for each cosplay, like Alyson Tabbitha, I met her in Facebook, and I fell in love with her work, her makeup is amazing, she really could become in the character.

And finally, about music, I really like rock and punk music, there are many bands I like, like The Offspring, Rise Against, Pearl Jam, Green Day, among others, but my favourite band since some years ago, is, of course, Foo Fighters, I think they really do "music", I think they really are artists, because they are very close to their fans, and they write songs very beautiful, and also they can make very funny videos.

Video-games are something that I like since I was child, my brother showed me a lot video-games, we used to have a Super Nintendo, but we just had 2 video-games, I remember the cartridges, one of them was Donkey Kong, and the other was International Superstar Soccer by Konami, I remember that when the cartridges not work, my brother used to blow and put the cartridge in the Super Nintendo again, and then them were working.

Some years later my brother bought a personal computer, and he filled the computer with video-games, I met the SNES, MAME, VisualBoy Advance, and SEGA emulators, and my brother used to play a lot new video-games with me, like Snow Bros, Tumble Pop, Joe & Mac, Metal Slug, Bomberman, Captain Commando, Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, Kirby, Megaman video-games, also fighting video-games, like Killer Instinct, KOF, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Last Blade, Samurai Shodown, SNK vs Capcom, Marvel vs Capcom, i don't know, Darkstalkers, even we played Pang, and when I was alone, I used to play Magical Drop, Harvest Moon, Pigout, some Beat 'em up, some RPG's, and also Disney video-games, yes, I really liked Disney video-games, like Mickey Mania, Disney's Magical Quest, or Mickey's Ultimate Challenge, I don't expect anyone apart from me to know them.

Or course I used to play Pokémon video-games, I tried to play every Pokémon video-game, but I couldn't play Red, Green, Blue and Yellow versions, I couldn't stand the pixels, but I loved Gold version, so when I knew that Gamefreak made a remake of Pokémon Gold called Pokémon HeartGold, I fell in love immediately with the video-game, the soundtracks are very beautiful, the gameplay is fantastic, I loved every part of the video-game.

I really like Pokémon video-games, but my favourite video-game is called "Mother 2", or just "Earthbound" in America, but is not very popular in South America, in this game you have to save the world from a "monster" called Giygas, the worst enemy that ever existed, with the help of two boys (a genius and a monk) and a girl with PK (Psychokinesis) powers.
Well, also I like Stardew Valley, of course, because I used to play a lot Harvest Moon video-games, I used to play Persona 3 in my brother's PS2, or play The World Ends with You in NDS emulator, and how could I forget about Lol...
